Agatas Alkauskas made a great header on Savage Hippo's corner, it was just that Arroyo Dulce's Zacarias Arotza managed to reach the ball for a save. Zacarias Arotza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eddie Bjurström went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Arroyo Dulce booed when Savage Hippo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norbert Kostka didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Savage Hippo's Kim Lekberg in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Arroyo Dulce's goalie prevented a goal. Vilmantas Magdišauskas charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vilmantas Magdišauskas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Savage Hippo getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Vilmantas Magdišauskas hit a great ball. Zacarias Arotza came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Savage Hippo's Kim Lekberg. But to his dismay, Kim Lekberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 34 minutes into the game, Kim Lekberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Zacarias Arotza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kim Lekberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zacarias Arotza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kim Lekberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Zacarias Arotza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kim Lekberg in the 39th minute of play. Zacarias Arotza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kim Lekberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 43rd minute, Kim Lekberg made a precise shot to the right of Zacarias Arotza. Arroyo Dulce's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arroyo Dulce's goalkeeper Zacarias Arotza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Faustão Abraão to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Savage Hippo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agatas Alkauskas to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Zacarias Arotza managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Savage Hippo's Kim Lekberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Arroyo Dulce's Zacarias Arotza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Arroyo Dulce from getting a goal against them. 59 minutes into the match, Kim Lekberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zacarias Arotza. Arroyo Dulce's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kim Lekberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Bengt-Arne Askstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Segundo Foro in the 64th minute of the match. Arroyo Dulce's Zacarias Arotza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kim Lekberg in the 65th minute of play. A hard shot 67 in the game by Kim Lekberg from a close distance when the talented Zacarias Arotza managed to make a qualified save. Arroyo Dulce's players were relieved. Zacarias Arotza came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Savage Hippo's Kim Lekberg. But to his dismay, Kim Lekberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. The supporters of Arroyo Dulce booed when Savage Hippo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Owen Tomaszewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 73 played minutes, Arroyo Dulce's Segundo Foro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bengt-Arne Askstedt came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Arroyo Dulce reached it. Kim Lekberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kim Lekberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zacarias Arotza came out and tried to block the shot, but Kim Lekberg slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 80th minute. In the 84th minute, Virginijus Balčaitis fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Arroyo Dulce's Zacarias Arotza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Arroyo Dulce from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Arroyo Dulce's Zacarias Arotza got control of the ball when Virginijus Balčaitis tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 90 played minutes Arroyo Dulce got a freekick which was hit by Vladimiro Petrigai. Arroyo Dulce's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Virginijus Balčaitis scored to the left of an out of position Zacarias Arotza, making the score, 0-9. In the 95th minute, Owen Tomaszewski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Savage Hippo walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
