Ruben Salvator's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hieronim Gdowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. 3 minutes into the match, Ruben Salvator had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hieronim Gdowski. Guadalupe FC - CIMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ruben Salvator was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Casomiro in the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guadalupe FC - CIMZ's goalkeeper Hieronim Gdowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 11 minutes into the match, Guadalupe FC - CIMZ's goalkeeper Hieronim Gdowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ruben Salvator. After 22 minutes, José de Queirós made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. A. Korn's Ubaldo Matildo Fillol tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 24 minutes into the match, A. Korn's goal looked a bit too open when José de Queirós came free, but Ubaldo Matildo Fillol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruben Salvator recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Guadalupe FC - CIMZ booed when A. Korn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenio Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the A. Korn defense, José de Queirós kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ubaldo Matildo Fillol. The A. Korn fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ubaldo Matildo Fillol should have stopped the shot. In the 39th minute, Hugo Casomiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ubaldo Matildo Fillol was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ruben Salvator stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Hugo Casomiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 67th minute, Chicão Capixaba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute, Ruben Salvator made a precise shot to the right of Hieronim Gdowski. Guadalupe FC - CIMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-4. After some careless play in the Guadalupe FC - CIMZ defense, Ruben Salvator kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hieronim Gdowski. The Guadalupe FC - CIMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hieronim Gdowski should have stopped the shot. Walmyr Travassos charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 83 played minutes Guadalupe FC - CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Walmyr Travassos. 84 minutes into the match, Guadalupe FC - CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Ruben Salvator came free, but Hieronim Gdowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruben Salvator blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hieronim Gdowski having to make a save. In the 87th minute, Ursino Fuente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
