Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Damaso Sancho made the kick off which started today's match. When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Damaso Sancho sped through Hai Duong's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Osman Şenel. After some careless play in the Congo Bongo defense, Zumar Villabona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Máté Márton. The Congo Bongo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Máté Márton should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Congo Bongo booed when Hai Duong was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nguyễn Hoang didn't get a good kick on the ball. Máté Márton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arthur Clarke in the 15th minute of the match. Damaso Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Osman Şenel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arthur Clarke in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Máté Márton saved Congo Bongo from getting behind. Osman Şenel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Damaso Sancho in the 25th minute. Máté Márton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zumar Villabona in the 27th minute of play. In the 33rd minute Arthur Clarke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Máté Márton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Damaso Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute of the match Congo Bongo got a corner. Hai Duong's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Franz Beckenbauer ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Damaso Sancho managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Osman Şenel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damaso Sancho's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. 44 minutes into the match, Hai Duong's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Austin came free, but Osman Şenel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Máté Márton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 74 minutes into the match, Hai Duong's goal looked a bit too open when Damaso Sancho came free, but Osman Şenel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
