Gică Hagi took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Evert Lägdin. Evert Lägdin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If 吴梁潮 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Evert Lägdin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gică Hagi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 38 played minutes 淡泊明志&宁静致远 got a freekick which was hit by Gică Hagi. 42 minutes into the match, AFC Richmond's goal looked a bit too open when Gică Hagi came free, but Evert Lägdin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gică Hagi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 45 minutes, Sebastian Goicoechea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AFC Richmond and the 淡泊明志&宁静致远 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sebastian Goicoechea kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gică Hagi in the 46th minute of play forced AFC Richmond's goalkeeper Evert Lägdin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, 杜荣镇 managed to get in a good position for a shot. 淡泊明志&宁静致远's supporters rose to their feet, but 杜荣镇 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evert Lägdin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 董峰辉 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 董峰辉 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valter Telin in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th minute 史松林 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evert Lägdin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Gică Hagi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evert Lägdin. AFC Richmond's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gică Hagi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 董峰辉 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valter Telin in the 75th minute of the match. Roger Ånger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but 董峰辉 made a huge save. Evert Lägdin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 杜荣镇, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 84 minutes, 杜荣镇 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 淡泊明志&宁静致远 and the AFC Richmond players grew even worse after the yellow card. AFC Richmond made a substitution. Leif Ek replaced Roland Ivarsson. For all the effort they put into the match, the AFC Richmond players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for 淡泊明志&宁静致远.
