The ball went over the crossbar instead. 8 minutes into the match, FC SZAFIRY's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Zapata came free, but Feliks Wielkopolski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 9 minutes into the game, Jeremias Stewarts recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Feliks Wielkopolski. Jeremias Stewarts showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. FC SZAFIRY's Feliks Wielkopolski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save FC SZAFIRY from getting a goal against them. In the 19th minute Jeremias Stewarts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliks Wielkopolski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Argen-Taino's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Graciano Verón in the 20th minute. Feliks Wielkopolski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Zapata, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute Argen-Taino were awarded a corner. Graciano Verón went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Argen-Taino's Graciano Verón to fire away a dangerous shot which Feliks Wielkopolski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Feliks Wielkopolski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Stewarts in the 29th minute of the match. Jeremias Stewarts blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Feliks Wielkopolski having to make a save. Feliks Wielkopolski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Stewarts in the 31st minute of play. The Argen-Taino fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Argen-Taino's Agustín Zapata looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 39th minute, Jeremias Stewarts got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Phil Mills scored 4-0 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Feliks Wielkopolski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jeremias Stewarts made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Agustín Zapata made a precise shot to the right of Feliks Wielkopolski. FC SZAFIRY's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Feliks Wielkopolski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeremias Stewarts's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Feliks Wielkopolski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramón Sosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 62nd minute Argen-Taino were awarded a corner. Graciano Verón went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of FC SZAFIRY's goalie and right to Agustín Zapata. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FC SZAFIRY's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Jacek Koprowski kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Argen-Taino's Phil Mills got a free kick in the 67th minute. Feliks Wielkopolski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Stewarts in the 72nd minute of the match. FC SZAFIRY's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jeremias Stewarts was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. The audience was convinced that Jeremias Stewarts's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Feliks Wielkopolski was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Argen-Taino's Ramón Sosa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Feliks Wielkopolski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ramón Sosa scored 8-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Feliks Wielkopolski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Feliks Wielkopolski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramón Sosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute Ramón Sosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliks Wielkopolski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Argen-Taino had played much better football throughout.
