After a rather tough play, CS La Libertad's Elias Carballo got a free kick in the 7th minute. The CS La Libertad fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when CS La Libertad's Agustin Barrantes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. CS La Libertad's Ernesto Monge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Piekarczyk in the 15th minute of play. If Bogdan Raschke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agustin Barrantes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Roch Brodzki when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 20th minute, Gerardo Millot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Miguel Volio came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the CS La Libertad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Volio couldn't finish the play. A hard shot 24 in the game by Agustin Barrantes from a close distance when the talented Roch Brodzki managed to make a qualified save. KKS Lech Poznań's players were relieved. 25 minutes into the match Agustin Barrantes climbed in front of goal and pressed up 2-0 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Roch Brodzki. The supporters of CS La Libertad booed when KKS Lech Poznań was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Piekarczyk didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute, Agustin Barrantes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roch Brodzki was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Gerardo Millot received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Roch Brodzki came out and tried to block the shot, but Gerardo Millot slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 41st minute. Sebastian Piekarczyk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ernesto Monge having to make a save. KKS Lech Poznań made a substitution. Radomil Murdza replaced Walery Plech.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Walery Kempka to make the kick off. With a little luck, CS La Libertad's Ernesto Monge got control of the ball when Radomil Murdza tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ernesto Monge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radomil Murdza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roch Brodzki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Carballo in the 60th minute of the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walter Centeno couldn't finish the play. 75 minutes into the match, KKS Lech Poznań's goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Barrantes came free, but Roch Brodzki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Agustin Barrantes scored 6-0 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roch Brodzki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 83rd minute of the match Mainor Coronado shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roch Brodzki showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Elias Carballo notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of KKS Lech Poznań's Roch Brodzki. Roch Brodzki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Barrantes in the 90th minute of play forced KKS Lech Poznań's goalkeeper Roch Brodzki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When KKS Lech Poznań's Bogdan Raschke in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
