Torjus Solvoll had in the 8thth minute some difficulties stopping Angel Alvarenga's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 11th minute, Zenon Gall ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nery Pumpido was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Sven-Edvin Jansson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Torjus Solvoll having to make a save. Torjus Solvoll made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sven-Edvin Jansson in the 15th minute. Nery Pumpido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Keld Popp in the 16th minute of the match. Torjus Solvoll showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thierry Henry, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Torjus Solvoll made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zico Zellier in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's Sven-Edvin Jansson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Torjus Solvoll narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Krestoffer Brandmose kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Sven-Edvin Jansson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Torjus Solvoll firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 34th minute of the match GuateFortín got a corner. Gettrup SIK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Angel Alvarenga ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 38thth minute of the game Sven-Edvin Jansson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gettrup SIK's Torjus Solvoll was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Absalon Berritsgård had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as GuateFortín's Zico Zellier slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Torjus Solvoll. That made the score 2-1 after 45 minutes of play.

GuateFortín's Nery Pumpido proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save GuateFortín from getting a goal against them. Torjus Solvoll showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thierry Henry in the 57th minute of the match. Gettrup SIK's Torjus Solvoll played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thierry Henry in the 63rd minute of play. Zenon Gall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nery Pumpido having to interfere. GuateFortín made a substitution. Pablo Mora replaced Zico Zellier. GuateFortín made a substitution. William Villanueva replaced Sven-Edvin Jansson. GuateFortín made a substitution. Mario Gomez replaced Thierry Henry. 75 minutes into the match, Mario Gomez notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Gettrup SIK's Torjus Solvoll. Torjus Solvoll was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 79 minutes into the match, Loui Dyndgaard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nery Pumpido. GuateFortín's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Loui Dyndgaard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mario Gomez in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Torjus Solvoll prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 84thth minute of the game Absalon Berritsgård who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GuateFortín's Nery Pumpido was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Torjus Solvoll showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Mora, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 93rd minute, Jorge Pernambucano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gettrup SIK made a substitution. Sten Vonk replaced Zenon Gall. In the 94th match minute, Gettrup SIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Pernambucano to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Gomez in the 95th minute of play forced Gettrup SIK's goalkeeper Torjus Solvoll to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
