In the 3rdth minute of the game 范青广 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fundação Marques dos Reis's 姚斌云 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 莫源文 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Taras Romanchuk, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 莫源文 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taras Romanchuk in the 14th minute of play. If Taras Romanchuk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 范青广 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 姚斌云 having to make a save. 21 minutes into the match, Fundação Marques dos Reis's goal looked a bit too open when 范青广 came free, but 姚斌云 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Fundação Marques dos Reis's Taras Romanchuk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 莫源文 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 34 minutes into the game, Vítor Dante threw the ball into play from the sideline. Fundação Marques dos Reis's Tiago Ferreira quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 范青广 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but 姚斌云 made a huge save. In the 37th minute, 范青广 reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of 姚斌云. The goal made the score 1-0. Andreas Maxsø hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taras Romanchuk in the 47th minute of play forced ≮王者归来≯DontAskMeWhoAreYou's goalkeeper 莫源文 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 范青广 to make the kick off. Alexandre Pacheco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. 莫源文 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandre Pacheco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 莫源文 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Taras Romanchuk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the game, 任弘宁 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ≮王者归来≯DontAskMeWhoAreYou's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fundação Marques dos Reis the free kick. When Taras Romanchuk came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Fundação Marques dos Reis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Taras Romanchuk couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, ≮王者归来≯DontAskMeWhoAreYou's 莫源文 got control of the ball when Juninho Pernambucano tried to sneak it across the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, ≮王者归来≯DontAskMeWhoAreYou's goalkeeper 莫源文 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juninho Pernambucano. But to his dismay, Juninho Pernambucano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Fundação Marques dos Reis's Diogo Cabral was substituted for Taras Romanchuk. The ≮王者归来≯DontAskMeWhoAreYou fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Fundação Marques dos Reis were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
