In the 16thth minute of the game Karl-Michael Melander who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BERMEJO's Hernan Goren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. U21 Argentina's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rayan MacQueen in the 18th minute. Gonza Ünder was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karl-Michael Melander in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hernan Goren saved BERMEJO from getting behind. In the 22nd minute Karl-Michael Melander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernan Goren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When U21 Argentina's Karl-Michael Melander in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The BERMEJO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hernan Goren should have stopped the shot. Karl-Michael Melander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Hernan Goren made a huge save. 41 minutes into the match, U21 Argentina's Karl-Michael Melander sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hernan Goren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 44 minutes, Karl-Michael Melander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U21 Argentina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl-Michael Melander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 47th match minute, U21 Argentina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Sande to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karl-Michael Melander to make the kick off. After taking down the ball on U21 Argentina's corner Gonza Ünder fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hernan Goren quite easily take care of the ball. With a left leg Hernan Goren saved BERMEJO from getting behind. 75 minutes into the match, Geronimo Raitin notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of BERMEJO's Hernan Goren. Hernan Goren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. BERMEJO's Hernan Goren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Raitin in the 94th minute of play. A collision led to BERMEJO getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Yves Auvinet hit a great ball. There was no doubt that U21 Argentina were the better team. U21 Argentina's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
