Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) After 3rd play minutes Karl-Michael Melander shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Hernan Goren and just under the crossbar into goal. Karl-Michael Melander might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hernan Goren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karl-Michael Melander ran back to his position shaking his head. Hernan Goren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Michael Melander, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Karl-Michael Melander took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hernan Goren. Hernan Goren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Ciriaco Gregory hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Karl-Michael Melander blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hernan Goren having to make a save. Hernan Goren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Michael Melander, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 23rd minute Karl-Michael Melander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernan Goren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hernan Goren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Michael Melander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karl-Michael Melander in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hernan Goren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 26th minute, U21 Argentina's Karl-Michael Melander dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. If Karl-Michael Melander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hernan Goren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Michael Melander in the 32nd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, U21 Argentina's Karl-Michael Melander sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hernan Goren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Karl-Michael Melander did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 5-0 to the left of a surprised Hernan Goren 41 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Karl-Michael Melander was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Karl-Michael Melander had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hernan Goren. BERMEJO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karl-Michael Melander was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Genaro Tebaldo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Albino Maiorga came out and tried to block the shot, but Genaro Tebaldo slotted it home off the left post making it 6-1 in the 58th minute. Pocho Lavezzi took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hernan Goren. Hernan Goren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. In the 66th minute Geronimo Raitin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernan Goren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, BERMEJO's Genaro Tebaldo got a free kick in the 68th minute. U21 Argentina's Arnaldo Ortega was substituted for Rayan MacQueen. After 68 played minutes BERMEJO got a freekick which was hit by Genaro Tebaldo. 69 minutes into the match, Geronimo Raitin notched a goal, 8-1, to the right of BERMEJO's Hernan Goren. Hernan Goren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 72nd match minute, U21 Argentina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geronimo Raitin to maneuver through the defense. In the 75thth minute of the game Geronimo Raitin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BERMEJO's Hernan Goren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hernan Goren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Geronimo Raitin went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-1 was the resulting score. After 84 played minutes BERMEJO got a freekick which was hit by Raul Dantae. Hernan Goren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geronimo Raitin, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. U21 Argentina were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after BERMEJO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gonza Ünder took the corner. U21 Argentina's Gonza Ünder was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hernan Goren in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Arnaldo Ortega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernan Goren having to interfere. After some careless play in the BERMEJO defense, Geronimo Raitin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hernan Goren. The BERMEJO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hernan Goren should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the U21 Argentina players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
