After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Marcos Ekhi managed to get in a good position for a shot. 1989 Blxsk's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcos Ekhi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Feliciano Horado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Celestino Millano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Feliciano Horado was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Celestino Millano charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Feliciano Elodio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Calvino, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Feliciano Horado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celestino Millano in the 40th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Düsseldorf FC defense, Alvaro Tiniebra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Feliciano Horado. The Düsseldorf FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Feliciano Horado should have stopped the shot. Feliciano Elodio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lisandro Lope, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Miguel Godoy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Feliciano Horado having to make a save. With a little luck, Düsseldorf FC's Feliciano Horado got control of the ball when Alvaro Tiniebra tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 65 minutes of play Düsseldorf FC's Dalmacio Olivar was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcos Ekhi couldn't finish the play. In the 84th minute Alvaro Calvino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliciano Elodio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
