Germano Moraes was out of position in the 6 minute of play, and Ronaldinho Romero capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ronaldinho Romero really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Mundial EC's Germano Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldinho Romero in the 14th minute of play. Germano Moraes made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Ronaldinho Romero sent off a good shot on target. Germano Moraes came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexilhão F. C.'s Anaia Barba. But to his dismay, Anaia Barba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 23 minutes into the match, Mundial EC's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldinho Romero came free, but Germano Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Mexilhão F. C.'s Germano Pernambucano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Germano Moraes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 31st minute Arvin Larsson suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Reinaldo de Alcântara fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mundial EC's protests and gave Reinaldo de Alcântara a yellow card for diving instead. Thanks to some nice moves Germano Pernambucano could shoot a difficult shot in the 33rd minute, which Germano Moraes however easily saved by the left post. In the 34th minute, Anaia Barba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th play minute Abel de Lara came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Germano Moraes. 4-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronaldinho Romero got free with Germano Moraes in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Intxixu Porregimon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reinaldo de Alcântara in the 48th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomás Senna to strike the kick off in the second half. Germano Pernambucano took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Germano Moraes. Germano Moraes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. In the 64th minute, Germano Pernambucano made a precise shot to the right of Germano Moraes. Mundial EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomás Senna during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tomás Senna kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the game, Júnior Santos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mundial EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexilhão F. C. the free kick. Germano Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldinho Romero in the 79th minute of play. Germano Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Germano Pernambucano in the 82nd minute of the match. Mundial EC's Germano Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldinho Romero in the 84th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Abel de Lara left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexilhão F. C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. 97 minutes into the game, Mexilhão F. C.'s Anaia Barba nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Germano Moraes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Mexilhão F. C. fully deserved thier win.
