In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind SV Bad Harzburg's goalkeeper Jacek Matuch, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half Lost Boys Sports Academy were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pepe Argento to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of SV Bad Harzburg booed when Lost Boys Sports Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Xabat didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62ndth minute of the game Éthan Pichard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lost Boys Sports Academy's Ivan Drago was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Lost Boys Sports Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Éthan Pichard came free, but Ivan Drago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Pepe Argento took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Jacek Matuch to make any attempt to save it. Lost Boys Sports Academy's Hu Cheng was substituted for Marcelo Xabat. Lost Boys Sports Academy's Coronel Llorente was substituted for Ludwig Modig. Jacek Matuch was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Johan Sellberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 78 minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, SV Bad Harzburg's Silvestre Loi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ivan Drago narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
