The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Socavon FC's Sindo Porregimon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Cordero in the 4th minute of play. Martín Ferreyra might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sindo Porregimon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Martín Ferreyra ran back to his position shaking his head. Sindo Porregimon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcelo Cordero's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's goal looked a bit too open when Ermengol Alberete came free, but Dražen Ladić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute Marcelo Cordero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sindo Porregimon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Dražen Ladić got control of the ball when Artal Baltanas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Artal Baltanas scored to the left of an out of position Dražen Ladić, making the score, 1-2. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Dražen Ladić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artal Baltanas in the 23rd minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's goal looked a bit too open when Artal Baltanas came free, but Dražen Ladić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dražen Ladić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artal Baltanas in the 30th minute of the match. Dražen Ladić was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Artal Baltanas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Artal Baltanas really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. When Koen Bouwman fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's protests and gave Koen Bouwman a yellow card for diving instead. Koen Bouwman kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Socavon FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fehmi Erdemer in the 47th minute. After taking down the ball on Socavon FC's corner Fehmi Erdemer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dražen Ladić quite easily take care of the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcelo Cordero to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Socavon FC booed when Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximo Bertol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fehmi Erdemer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dražen Ladić. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT booed when Socavon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artal Baltanas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 64 played minutes Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT got a freekick which was hit by Maximo Bertol. Socavon FC's Jacindo Oria was substituted for Thomás Pollack.
