With his leg Benvido Fuica managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Tiger's Pentti Ojala fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 32nd play minutes Jesse Vallin shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Josef Witlatschil and just under the crossbar into goal. Benvido Fuica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christo Bothenhain in the 37th minute of the match. When Kurt Blixt fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Raven Heart's protests and gave Kurt Blixt a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th match minute, Raven Heart was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurt Blixt to maneuver through the defense. When Christo Bothenhain came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Tiger fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christo Bothenhain couldn't finish the play. The Raven Heart supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Raven Heart would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
