Cristoforo Flocco struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Jacinto Quintanilha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villa Gordiani. With a left leg Jacinto Quintanilha saved Sporting Clube de Gaya from getting behind. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lia Marquez in the 94th minute of play forced Sporting Clube de Gaya's goalkeeper Jacinto Quintanilha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
