Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Machado Santianes got the match started through his kick off. Siro Frances received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Yin Cheng Han tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 4 minutes of play, Independiente del Río's Machado Santianes made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lorenzo Lorenz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lorenzo Lorenz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Machado Santianes in the 12th minute of the match. Rogelio Sarratea's late challenge caught a Ángel Albirrojo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rogelio Sarratea helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th minute, one of Independiente del Río:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Independiente del Río. Zülfü Kamber shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 20th match minute, Independiente del Río was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogelio Sarratea to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Ángel Albirrojo's Celso Ayala got a free kick in the 24th minute. When Emanuel Sueiro came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Independiente del Río fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Sueiro couldn't finish the play. 26 minutes into the match, Ángel Albirrojo's goal looked a bit too open when Xzavaier Taboada came free, but Lorenzo Lorenz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Independiente del Río's Yin Cheng Han got control of the ball when Siro Frances tried to sneak it across the goal line. Juan Fernando Quinteros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Yin Cheng Han made a huge save. Yin Cheng Han made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Siro Frances sent off a good shot on target. Ángel Albirrojo's Lorenzo Lorenz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Baldaliso in the 36th minute of play. Juan Fernando Quinteros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Yin Cheng Han made a huge save. After 40 played minutes Ángel Albirrojo got a freekick which was hit by Erubiel Gonzalez. In the 44th minute, Fabian Baldaliso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Independiente del Río fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After the first half Independiente del Río were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Siro Frances to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Independiente del Río getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Halil Benlioğlu hit a great ball. When Arévalo Buyolo fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Independiente del Río's protests and gave Arévalo Buyolo a yellow card for diving instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amador Joanes in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yin Cheng Han prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Xzavaier Taboada who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Lorenzo Lorenz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabian Baldaliso got free with Lorenzo Lorenz in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 73 minutes into the game, Ángel Albirrojo's Siro Frances nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yin Cheng Han made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Independiente del Río's Charles De Ketelaere was substituted for Emanuel Sueiro. Amador Joanes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Machado Santianes in the 81st minute of play forced Ángel Albirrojo's goalkeeper Lorenzo Lorenz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Ángel Albirrojo's goal looked a bit too open when Xzavaier Taboada came free, but Lorenzo Lorenz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Machado Santianes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lorenzo Lorenz. That made the score 1-3 in the 86 minute of play. The supporters of Independiente del Río booed when Ángel Albirrojo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amador Joanes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ángel Albirrojo's Lorenzo Lorenz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Ángel Albirrojo from getting a goal against them. Lorenzo Lorenz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Machado Santianes, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arévalo Buyolo in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lorenzo Lorenz saved Ángel Albirrojo from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Machado Santianes in the 95th minute of play forced Ángel Albirrojo's goalkeeper Lorenzo Lorenz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Independiente del Río could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ángel Albirrojo throughout the match.
