In the 28th minute, Iustinian Comăneci left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SuperDepor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 31 minutes into the match, Seraċini Għawdxin's goal looked a bit too open when Călin Bolborici came free, but Rahim Kornes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rahim Kornes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iustinian Comăneci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fernando Negro was the one to do the kick off. In the 79th minute of the game Vlad Caramarin made a throw-in which Severino Jacinto played forward. SuperDepor made a substitution. Emil Gârdescu replaced Iustinian Comăneci. Seraċini Għawdxin's Rahim Kornes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Seraċini Għawdxin from getting a goal against them. Severino Jacinto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Rahim Kornes made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Emil Gârdescu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rahim Kornes. That made the score 1-2 in the 94 minute of play. SuperDepor played a much better game than Seraċini Għawdxin and deserved their victory. The Seraċini Għawdxin players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
