After a rather tough play, Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Leonardo Colmenares got a free kick in the 3rd minute. The supporters of Rapsodas Red Devils FC booed when MZ Fénix was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermegildo Izaguirre didn't get a good kick on the ball. MZ Fénix's Pankracy Zajonc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joseph Schwarzfischer in the 9th minute of play. If Cai Yuan Yuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Ferenc Tököli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cai Yuan Yuan in the 11th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Jorrin Briones made a precise shot to the right of Pankracy Zajonc. MZ Fénix's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Jorrin Briones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cai Yuan Yuan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ferenc Tököli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Cai Yuan Yuan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ferenc Tököli was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Ferenc Tököli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cai Yuan Yuan's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Cai Yuan Yuan struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Ferenc Tököli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MZ Fénix.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cai Yuan Yuan to make the kick off. After 51 minutes of play, MZ Fénix's Cai Yuan Yuan made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ferenc Tököli was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Ippolit Kolobov was substituted for Kerim De Bruyne. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Jerrold Taranco was substituted for Luís Paulo da Fonseca. Pankracy Zajonc made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jerrold Taranco in the 59th minute. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rapsodas Red Devils FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aras Görkem Kaymaz was slow to take the kick. During this time MZ Fénix's players had a chance to rest. 66 minutes into the match, Jerrold Taranco dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pankracy Zajonc, 2-2. MZ Fénix's Alexandre Valido was substituted for Vladimiro Granja. A sloppy throw-in by Damián Alcazar in the 70th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by MZ Fénix's Alexandre Valido. MZ Fénix's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Jerrold Taranco scored to the left of an out of position Pankracy Zajonc, making the score, 2-3. 76 minutes into the game, Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Leonardo Colmenares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pankracy Zajonc made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Pankracy Zajonc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Salah in the 81st minute of the match. Pankracy Zajonc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Colmenares in the 83rd minute of play. In the 87th minute MZ Fénix were awarded a corner. Aras Görkem Kaymaz went to the cornerflag to take it. MZ Fénix's Pankracy Zajonc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Salah in the 89th minute of play. Pankracy Zajonc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Salah in the 90th minute of play. The Rapsodas Red Devils FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Rapsodas Red Devils FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
