Santiago Mino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cauan de Senna having to interfere. Anthony Bonellis short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Cauan de Senna to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cauan de Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Mino, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Alfredo Joey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sergiu Râznicu's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Alfredo Joey came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Maragassume AD - CIMZ's Ronaldão Sanches. But to his dismay, Ronaldão Sanches quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Alfredo Joey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldão Sanches in the 17th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anthony Bonelli got free with Cauan de Senna in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alfredo Joey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frédson Chaves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Maragassume AD - CIMZ's Aníbal Amaral got a free kick in the 27th minute. Alfredo Joey didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ronaldão Sanches went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Maragassume AD - CIMZ's Cauan de Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Mino in the 31st minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, Maximino Gonzalez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cauan de Senna. Maximino Gonzalez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. With a little luck, Maragassume AD - CIMZ's Cauan de Senna got control of the ball when Santiago Mino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Santiago Mino could shoot a difficult shot in the 40th minute, which Cauan de Senna however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Mino in the 44th minute of play forced Maragassume AD - CIMZ's goalkeeper Cauan de Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Cauan de Senna didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arnoldo Medina went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 68th minute, Saul Felo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Palermo made a substitution. Anacleto Itzaina replaced Alfred Olsson. After 70 played minutes Palermo got a freekick which was hit by Saul Felo. Sergiu Râznicu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfredo Joey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldão Sanches in the 73rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Mino in the 77th minute of play forced Maragassume AD - CIMZ's goalkeeper Cauan de Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Palermo booed when Maragassume AD - CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darío Pereyra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anthony Bonelli took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cauan de Senna. Maragassume AD - CIMZ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Maragassume AD - CIMZ's Aníbal Amaral sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfredo Joey narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 88th minute, Arnoldo Medina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Palermo's goalkeeper Alfredo Joey, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 93rd minute Ronaldão Sanches shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Joey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sergiu Râznicu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alfredo Joey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aníbal Amaral in the 96th minute of the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
