Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Marcin Mocko started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of SAWEX FC booed when TAJFUN Giszowiec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wawrzyniec Dziewedik didn't get a good kick on the ball. 9 minutes into the match, SAWEX FC's goal looked a bit too open when Miroslaw Kicia came free, but Sigvard Boström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Krzysztof Grocholski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olgierd Haszczak in the 12th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Maksymilian Jarosiewicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sylwester Ziombkowski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Krzysztof Grocholski. TAJFUN Giszowiec's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Zbyszko Kajder struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Krzysztof Grocholski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SAWEX FC. Krzysztof Grocholski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zbyszko Kajder in the 21st minute of play. Marcin Mockos short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Sigvard Boström to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Marcin Mocko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Sigvard Boström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olgierd Haszczak in the 27th minute of play forced TAJFUN Giszowiec's goalkeeper Krzysztof Grocholski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olgierd Haszczak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Krzysztof Grocholski having to interfere. A collision led to TAJFUN Giszowiec getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Arkadiusz Cielencki hit a great ball. After 42 played minutes SAWEX FC got a freekick which was hit by Olgierd Haszczak. Radomil Barys's late challenge caught a TAJFUN Giszowiec's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Radomil Barys helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, SAWEX FC's Radomil Barys got a free kick in the 43rd minute.

TAJFUN Giszowiec's Krzysztof Grocholski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbyszko Kajder in the 52nd minute of play. Zbyszko Kajder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Krzysztof Grocholski having to interfere. Sigvard Boström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcin Mocko in the 57th minute of the match. When Zbyszko Kajder came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the SAWEX FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zbyszko Kajder couldn't finish the play. In the 61st minute Zbyszko Kajder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Krzysztof Grocholski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zbyszko Kajder in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Krzysztof Grocholski saved TAJFUN Giszowiec from getting behind. Olgierd Haszczak's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Krzysztof Grocholski skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Krzysztof Grocholski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zbyszko Kajder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute of the match, Tobiasz Traczewski got a very nice opportunity to score, but Krzysztof Grocholski was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zbyszko Kajder in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Krzysztof Grocholski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sigvard Boström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcin Mocko, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 73 minutes into the game, Tobiasz Traczewski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Krzysztof Grocholski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A hard shot 76 in the game by Olgierd Haszczak from a close distance when the talented Krzysztof Grocholski managed to make a qualified save. TAJFUN Giszowiec's players were relieved. The audience was convinced that Marcin Mocko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sigvard Boström was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Tobiasz Traczewski kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 82nd match minute, SAWEX FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zbyszko Kajder to maneuver through the defense. After 83 played minutes TAJFUN Giszowiec got a freekick which was hit by Konrad Owsiak. After a defensive mix-up in TAJFUN Giszowiec's zone, Olaf Hetman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Krzysztof Grocholski came out of the goal and Olaf Hetman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th match minute, SAWEX FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zbyszko Kajder to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Marcin Mocko managed to get in a good position for a shot. TAJFUN Giszowiec's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcin Mocko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sigvard Boström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 95 minutes into the match, TAJFUN Giszowiec's goalkeeper Krzysztof Grocholski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olgierd Haszczak. When the final whistle sounded SAWEX FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than TAJFUN Giszowiec.
