Enrique Bologna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vacid Nefer in the 11th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Florencio Rafe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Turgut Talha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Hans-Martin Istad sped through Club Deportivo Español's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Turgut Talha. Turgut Talha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florencio Rafe in the 36th minute. If Celso Hotz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 41 minutes, Florencio Rafe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Masters United F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Florencio Rafe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Turgut Talha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans-Martin Istad, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Club Deportivo Español's Turgut Talha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Club Deportivo Español from getting a goal against them. After 47 minutes of play, Club Deportivo Español's Vacid Nefer made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enrique Bologna was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Vacid Nefer made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Masters United F.C. getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Anselmo Ted hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Español's goal looked a bit too open when Saverio Teofilio came free, but Turgut Talha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th play minute Vacid Nefer came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Enrique Bologna. 1-2. Masters United F.C.'s Herminio Frantzes was substituted for Celso Hotz. With a little luck, Masters United F.C.'s Enrique Bologna got control of the ball when Vacid Nefer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Turgut Talha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florencio Rafe in the 72nd minute of the match. A throw-in in the 75th minute of the game was made by Anselmo Ted with Saverio Teofilio as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Enrique Bologna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kris Chamberlain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 79 minutes into the game, Club Deportivo Español's Kris Chamberlain nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Enrique Bologna made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Enrique Bologna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vacid Nefer in the 84th minute of the match. Turgut Talha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herminio Frantzes in the 86th minute of play. A hard shot 90 in the game by Vacid Nefer from a close distance when the talented Enrique Bologna managed to make a qualified save. Masters United F.C.'s players were relieved. Enrique Bologna stood somewhat misplaced when Vacid Nefer came free in front of goal and shot 1-4 to the left of him in the 90 minute. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Masters United F.C. lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
