Marcial Orlandus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gösta Söderberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Holger Vester was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and Melquiades Librado capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Melquiades Librado really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Marcial Orlandus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celedonio Dominguez in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Melquiades Librado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Holger Vester was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 12th match minute, Hammarby IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gösta Söderberg to maneuver through the defense. Angelino Clemencin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 15 minutes, Jonas Hök made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Guanacos's Marcial Orlandus tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Hammarby IF's Holger Vester proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Hammarby IF from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Hammarby IF's Holger Vester got control of the ball when Angelino Clemencin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcial Orlandus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Hök in the 32nd minute of the match. Angelino Clemencin took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Holger Vester. Holger Vester dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Hammarby IF's Holger Vester proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Hammarby IF from getting a goal against them. Marcial Orlandus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celedonio Dominguez in the 39th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Pierres in the 41st minute of play forced Hammarby IF's goalkeeper Holger Vester to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Pierres took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Holger Vester. Holger Vester dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Angelino Clemencin struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Holger Vester didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guanacos. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulo Pierres got free with Holger Vester in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Guanacos were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after Hammarby IF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ricardo Hug took the corner. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulo Pierres was the one to do the kick off. Holger Vester showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Pierres in the 52nd minute of the match. Holger Vester showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Pierres, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The audience was convinced that Paulo Pierres's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Holger Vester was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Hammarby IF's Holger Vester played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelino Clemencin in the 55th minute of play. With 56 minutes on the clock, Erubiel Laurgain commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Isaltino Paes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Marcial Orlandus made a huge save. In the 61st match minute, Guanacos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Ekaitz to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Isaltino Paes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hammarby IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaltino Paes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcial Orlandus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 63 minutes into the match, Angelino Clemencin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Holger Vester. Hammarby IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Angelino Clemencin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. After 67 played minutes Guanacos got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Pierres. Arnoldo Tonete kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Isaltino Paes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcial Orlandus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melquiades Librado in the 74th minute of play forced Hammarby IF's goalkeeper Holger Vester to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Holger Vester showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danilo Sanchez in the 75th minute of the match. Guanacos's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Jonas Hök scored to the left of an out of position Marcial Orlandus, making the score, 5-2. Guanacos made a substitution. Remigio Ler replaced Danilo Sanchez. The supporters of Guanacos booed when Hammarby IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celedonio Dominguez didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angelino Clemencin in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Holger Vester saved Hammarby IF from getting behind. 88 minutes into the match, Hammarby IF's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Nabar came free, but Holger Vester reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute, Amadeo Nabar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Guanacos booed when Hammarby IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaltino Paes didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Amadeo Nabar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hammarby IF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
