After 6 played minutes Stowe City got a freekick which was hit by Billy Hardy. 7 minutes into the game, Kauã Lira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Alex Rogers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alex Rogers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Alberto de Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Leonel Sanches hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Alberto de Sousa in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alex Rogers saved Stowe City from getting behind. After some careless play in the Stowe City defense, Carlos Alberto de Sousa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alex Rogers. The Stowe City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alex Rogers should have stopped the shot. Alex Rogers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Alberto de Sousa in the 34th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Stowe City's zone, Leonel Sanches stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alex Rogers came out of the goal and Leonel Sanches tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 38th minute Carlos Alberto de Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Rogers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Leonel Sanches had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alex Rogers. Stowe City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonel Sanches was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Alberto de Sousa made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Kauã Lira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alex Rogers. Kauã Lira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Alex Rogers was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Carlos Alberto de Sousa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Carlos Alberto de Sousa really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. Thanks to some nice moves Leonel Sanches could shoot a difficult shot in the 60th minute, which Alex Rogers however easily saved by the left post. Stowe City's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Kauã Lira 61 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-8. Alex Rogers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Alberto de Sousa in the 64th minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Kauã Lira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Futbol Club RRFV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. 71 minutes into the match, Dorival do Vale notched a goal, 0-10, to the right of Stowe City's Alex Rogers. Alex Rogers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 74th minute, Shelby Bonner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute Kauã Lira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Rogers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alex Rogers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Alberto de Sousa in the 77th minute of the match. After 79 minutes of play, Futbol Club RRFV's Carlos Alberto de Sousa made it 0-11 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alex Rogers was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kauã Lira succeeded in the game's 83rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-12. Futbol Club RRFV's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
