In the 8thth minute of the game Andy Cole who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's Lütfi Kutlubay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 8 minutes, Andy Cole made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's Lütfi Kutlubay tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee showed Andy Cole the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Floresta Negra FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Andy Cole hit a great ball. Thibault Delanoë could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 49th minute of the match, but Egun Pais made a huge save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Chiquinho Pombal made the kick off in the second half. Lütfi Kutlubay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jardel Lewandowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After some careless play in the Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa defense, Jardel Lewandowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lütfi Kutlubay. The Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lütfi Kutlubay should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Floresta Negra FC's Lokon Pøhl got a free kick in the 97th minute. The Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Floresta Negra FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
