Lima Team's Francisco Infante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joao Zuazo in the 4th minute of play. Herberto Caiado might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sebastián Torrico. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Herberto Caiado ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacob Barroso got free with Sebastián Torrico in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 12 minutes into the game, Anselmo Domingos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lima Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GreenUnited the free kick. Anselmo Domingos hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Sebastián Torrico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herberto Caiado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Jacob Barroso came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Lima Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacob Barroso couldn't finish the play. In the 25th minute Edward Chaniago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Infante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastián Torrico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Palmeira in the 31st minute of play. Francisco Infante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yaman Akar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joao Zuazo in the 33rd minute of play forced Lima Team's goalkeeper Francisco Infante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute Carlos Palmeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastián Torrico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, GreenUnited's goalkeeper Sebastián Torrico had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Herberto Caiado. Sebastián Torrico made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacob Barroso in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute Carlos Palmeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastián Torrico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Francisco Infante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Max Farr, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Lima Team's goal looked a bit too open when Max Farr came free, but Francisco Infante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute Herberto Caiado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastián Torrico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ovidiu Şerbănescu fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GreenUnited's protests and gave Ovidiu Şerbănescu a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Lima Team booed when GreenUnited was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidiu Şerbănescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Jacob Barroso in the 63rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by GreenUnited's Frans Laine. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herberto Caiado in the 64th minute of play forced GreenUnited's goalkeeper Sebastián Torrico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastián Torrico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herberto Caiado in the 66th minute of play. Sebastián Torrico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacob Barroso, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Francisco Infante came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by GreenUnited's Max Farr. But to his dismay, Max Farr quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 74 minutes into the match, Lima Team's goal looked a bit too open when Max Farr came free, but Francisco Infante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisco Infante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Max Farr, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 76th minute Herberto Caiado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastián Torrico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Lima Team's Francisco Infante got control of the ball when Max Stevens tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 78th minute Jacob Barroso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastián Torrico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Herberto Caiado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Renato Vargas kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Francisco Infante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Max Farr in the 87th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Lima Team's goalkeeper Francisco Infante had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Max Stevens. Max Stevens could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Francisco Infante made a huge save. Sebastián Torrico didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Herberto Caiado went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Lima Team's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
