In the 6th match minute, Botafogo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zacarías Nolibuat to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes into the match, Botafogo's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Linkhorst came free, but Aristide Răduț reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patrick Armstrong was a little too slow when 蒋扬谦 got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 1-0. After a rather tough play, ManagerZone Crew's Thorsten Dietz got a free kick in the 20th minute. Patrick Armstrong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camerino Lavalle in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Botafogo's 蒋扬谦 dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Camerino Lavalle might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patrick Armstrong. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Camerino Lavalle ran back to his position shaking his head. ManagerZone Crew's Patrick Armstrong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 蒋扬谦 in the 32nd minute of play. Adrian Rosario hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Patrick Armstrong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 蒋扬谦 in the 41st minute of play. Ricky Baby hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Peter Linkhorst stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the ManagerZone Crew defense, 蒋扬谦 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patrick Armstrong. The ManagerZone Crew fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patrick Armstrong should have stopped the shot. Botafogo were furious when Zarco Matos was red carded, 55 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 54th minute, one of Botafogo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Botafogo. The supporters of Botafogo booed when ManagerZone Crew was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thorbjörn Olerius didn't get a good kick on the ball. 蒋扬谦 kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Haritz Trespuentes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Botafogo booed when ManagerZone Crew was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Rosario didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute, Haritz Trespuentes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patrick Armstrong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 蒋扬谦, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Peter Linkhorst had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aristide Răduț made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thorbjörn Olerius in the 97th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thorbjörn Olerius got free with Aristide Răduț in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Botafogo were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of ManagerZone Crew for a fine match.
