Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Cesare Cardillo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Anton Bârsan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 13th minute Anton Bârsan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nebojša Jerić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lechuguitas F.C.'s Amancio Clodio quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dino Glavota, made in the 20th minute of the game. If Anton Bârsan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nebojša Jerić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Bârsan in the 23rd minute of the match. Crni Tigrovi's Nebojša Jerić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Bârsan in the 31st minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Lechuguitas F.C.'s goalkeeper Cesare Cardillo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Garikoitz Revuelta. After 39 played minutes Crni Tigrovi got a freekick which was hit by Miroslav Agbaba. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Crni Tigrovi's goalkeeper Nebojša Jerić, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Velimir Vizek was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Velimir Vizek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cesare Cardillo was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. If Anton Bârsan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Crni Tigrovi's goalkeeper Nebojša Jerić, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Anton Bârsan took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nebojša Jerić. Nebojša Jerić dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Anton Bârsan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nebojša Jerić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Bârsan in the 65th minute of play. Nebojša Jerić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Bârsan in the 68th minute of the match. Nebojša Jerić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Bârsan, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After 70 minutes of play, Crni Tigrovi's Pompiliu Bacalbașa made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cesare Cardillo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 75th minute Anton Bârsan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nebojša Jerić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lechuguitas F.C.'s Cesare Cardillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pompiliu Bacalbașa in the 94th minute of play. 95 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lechuguitas F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Paško Kukavica was slow to take the kick. During this time Crni Tigrovi's players had a chance to rest. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
