The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jailson Prado in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kubat Aydınoğlu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 13 played minutes CamaLeones got a freekick which was hit by Diego Armando Ebert. Lei Lang Rong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alemdar Oykan in the 15th minute of play. Kubat Aydınoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jailson Prado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angel Correa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Kubat Aydınoğlu made a huge save. Lei Lang Rong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alemdar Oykan in the 26th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, CamaLeones's Jailson Prado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kubat Aydınoğlu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. CamaLeones were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Giresun United F.K ©'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Modesto Quintan took the corner. CamaLeones's Jailson Prado was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kubat Aydınoğlu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ubaldo Matildo Ubakivi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, CamaLeones's goalkeeper Lei Lang Rong had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aykut Arslantürk. 54 minutes into the game, Diego Armando Ebert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CamaLeones's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Giresun United F.K © the free kick. Diego Armando Ebert kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in CamaLeones fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 59th minute. Penalty! After 69 played minutes CamaLeones got a freekick which was hit by Angel Correa. Alfonsas Jakniūnas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kubat Aydınoğlu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Naci Tuncel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Lei Lang Rong made a huge save. Giresun United F.K ©'s Fabian Jablonski was substituted for Isac Blomkvist. Santos Feliz hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. The corner ended in Alemdar Oykan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but CamaLeones's Lei Lang Rong did a great save. After 87th play minutes Alemdar Oykan shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Lei Lang Rong and just under the crossbar into goal. 90 minutes into the match, Giresun United F.K ©'s goal looked a bit too open when Alfonsas Jakniūnas came free, but Kubat Aydınoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kubat Aydınoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonsas Jakniūnas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute, Zhao Chuan Jing hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Naci Tuncel came free with the goalkeeper in the 97th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lei Lang Rong could save by the left post. The Giresun United F.K © supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Giresun United F.K © would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
