The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, Matheu City FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Minas Makris to maneuver through the defense. Celedonio Eguen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhang Xun in the 6th minute of play. Matheu City FC's Celedonio Eguen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmondo Melani in the 8th minute of play. Vicente Marin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Bedrettin Münir when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Minas Makris got free with Bedrettin Münir in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 20 minutes into the match, Matheu City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zhang Xun came free, but Celedonio Eguen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celedonio Eguen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhang Xun in the 21st minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Zhang Xun made a precise shot to the right of Celedonio Eguen. Matheu City FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Minas Makris got free with Bedrettin Münir in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Minas Makris's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bedrettin Münir firmly grabbed it by the left post. Celedonio Eguen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zhang Xun's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Matheu City FC's Celedonio Eguen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhang Xun in the 37th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Matheu City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luke Puig came free, but Celedonio Eguen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute of the match, Robinho Salgado tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bedrettin Münir saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 42nd match minute, Seferihisar İdman Gücü was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmondo Melani to maneuver through the defense. Seferihisar İdman Gücü were furious when Rick Grimes was red carded, 47 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The supporters of Matheu City FC booed when Seferihisar İdman Gücü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rick Grimes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 49 minutes into the match, Seferihisar İdman Gücü's goalkeeper Bedrettin Münir had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ruperto Serafo. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Blas Rozarius to make the kick off. Mehmet İsmet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the match, Matheu City FC's Vicente Marin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bedrettin Münir narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 61 minutes into the game, Vicente Marin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Bedrettin Münir was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zhang Xun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 68 played minutes Seferihisar İdman Gücü got a freekick which was hit by Edmondo Melani. Matheu City FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ruperto Serafo in the 70th minute. Zhang Xun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Celedonio Eguen made a huge save. After having played for 73 minutes, Vicente Marin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Matheu City FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vicente Marin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 80th minute Minas Makris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bedrettin Münir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bedrettin Münir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blas Rozarius in the 85th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Matheu City FC's Minas Makris sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bedrettin Münir narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anier Manny's late challenge caught a Seferihisar İdman Gücü's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anier Manny helped the player get up and apologised. After 89 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Matheu City FC! Matheu City FC:s Celedonio Eguen showed great skill when he stopped Daniel Matos:s penalty. Robinho Salgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
