The supporters of 20 de Março FC booed when 20 DE SETEMBRO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulão Barreto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robinho de Sena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erling Franks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 de Março FC's Robinho de Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erling Franks in the 9th minute of play. Erling Franks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Robinho de Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute of the match 20 DE SETEMBRO got a corner. 20 de Março FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Erivaldo Antunes ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 16 minutes, Anísio Gomes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 20 de Março FC and the 20 DE SETEMBRO players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th match minute, 20 de Março FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anísio Gomes to maneuver through the defense. Robinho de Sena made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Erling Franks sent off a good shot on target. Robinho de Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donny Verweijen in the 30th minute of the match. Robinho de Sena came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by 20 DE SETEMBRO's Erling Franks. But to his dismay, Erling Franks quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 41st minute 20 DE SETEMBRO were awarded a corner. Erivaldo Antunes went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on 20 DE SETEMBRO's corner Erivaldo Antunes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Robinho de Sena quite easily take care of the ball. 45 minutes into the match, 20 de Março FC's goal looked a bit too open when Erling Franks came free, but Robinho de Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th match minute, 20 DE SETEMBRO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulão Barreto to maneuver through the defense.

53 minutes into the game, Erling Franks cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Robinho de Sena was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 20 de Março FC's Robinho de Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erling Franks in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute, 20 de Março FC's Amauri de Queirós seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Amauri de Queirós the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of 20 de Março FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Amauri de Queirós had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for 20 de Março FC! The excitement rose when 20 DE SETEMBRO's Maurinho Tróia after 59 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for 20 de Março FC's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 4-0. Erling Franks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Robinho de Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erling Franks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robinho de Sena having to interfere. Erling Franks recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Donny Verweijen came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the 20 DE SETEMBRO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donny Verweijen couldn't finish the play. Erling Franks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 81st minute Erling Franks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robinho de Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82ndth minute of the game Erling Franks who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 20 de Março FC's Robinho de Sena was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Erling Franks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robinho de Sena having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, 20 de Março FC's goal looked a bit too open when Erling Franks came free, but Robinho de Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th match minute, 20 de Março FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denílson Vides to maneuver through the defense. Erivaldo Antunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erling Franks's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robinho de Sena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play.
