A wasted opportunity for ROSÁRIO SPORT. 22 minutes into the match, ROSÁRIO SPORT's goal looked a bit too open when Thibault Delanoë came free, but Luiz Corrêa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's Thibault Delanoë in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Nildo da Silveira made a great header on ROSÁRIO SPORT's corner, it was just that Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's Lütfi Kutlubay managed to reach the ball for a save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tony Dionísio to strike the kick off in the second half. Tony Dionísio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lütfi Kutlubay having to make a save. ROSÁRIO SPORT's attentive Wambasther Gattuso managed to snatch the ball when Joélson Massa made a throw-in in the 57th minute of the game. Luiz Corrêa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chiquinho Pombal in the 59th minute. Lütfi Kutlubay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Dionísio in the 60th minute of play. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. The audience was convinced that Noel Silveira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lütfi Kutlubay was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Dionísio in the 88th minute of play forced Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa's goalkeeper Lütfi Kutlubay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the last second Luiz Corrêa throw himself and got hold of the ball when Burak Onal in the 89thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 94th minute Tony Dionísio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lütfi Kutlubay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tony Dionísio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ROSÁRIO SPORT fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cospe-Fogo-Pelasventa had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
