The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cai Wei Xi in the 7th minute of play forced LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO's goalkeeper Chucky Norris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chucky Norris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cai Wei Xi in the 7th minute of play. In the 16th minute Clovis Hénot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Abad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cai Wei Xi might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chucky Norris. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cai Wei Xi ran back to his position shaking his head. Chucky Norris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cai Wei Xi in the 20th minute of the match. Chucky Norris didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cai Wei Xi went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Nicasio Abad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noureddine Sanchis in the 38th minute of play. After 42 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥! Clovis Hénot shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Blas Frances was substituted for William Lebigot. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Noureddine Sanchis was the one to do the kick off. When Cai Wei Xi came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cai Wei Xi couldn't finish the play. 57 minutes into the match, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s goal looked a bit too open when Clovis Hénot came free, but Nicasio Abad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicasio Abad made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Clovis Hénot sent off a good shot on target. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Nicasio Abad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noureddine Sanchis in the 66th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cai Wei Xi in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chucky Norris saved LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO from getting behind. In the 81st minute Noureddine Sanchis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Abad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chucky Norris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lei Jian Xiong in the 82nd minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Ahmet Demircioğlu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Chucky Norris quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lei Jian Xiong in the 88th minute of play forced LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO's goalkeeper Chucky Norris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute of the match Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ got a corner. LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ahmet Demircioğlu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gökçe Yalazalp made a great header on Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s corner, it was just that LA RABIA DEL PUEBLO's Chucky Norris managed to reach the ball for a save. Chucky Norris didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gökçe Yalazalp went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 92nd minute, Lei Jian Xiong left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. 95 minutes into the game, Níels Skakkebæk threw the ball into play from the sideline. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Kosmas Banasopoulos quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion.
