In the 31st minute Kraig Fred shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but J.J J.J. saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 32 minutes of play, Estudiantes de América's Kraig Fred made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. J.J J.J. was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 35 played minutes Sc Ajax Hirtenberg got a freekick which was hit by Andre Ziffzer. In the 37th minute, Andre Ziffzer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kraig Fred blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without J.J J.J. having to make a save. 39 minutes into the match, Sc Ajax Hirtenberg's goal looked a bit too open when Kraig Fred came free, but J.J J.J. reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. J.J J.J. made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kraig Fred in the 44th minute of play. The supporters of Sc Ajax Hirtenberg booed when Estudiantes de América was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Korneliusz Miodek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcos Ranolfo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Berat Haliç in the 48th minute. After the first half Estudiantes de América were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eugeniusz Poniewaz made a kick off.
