With an extended leg and a bit of luck Shi Guo Wen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Shi Guo Wen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bogdan Bambas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bogdan Bambas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shi Guo Wen having to interfere. Bogdan Bambas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Shi Guo Wen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clem Fath was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bogdan Bambas might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Shi Guo Wen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Clem Fath came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by BRUGGE FC's Petrigai Guau. But to his dismay, Petrigai Guau quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Cosa nostra Lyon's Hercule Frison was substituted for Willy Hautefeuille. After a rather tough play, BRUGGE FC's Gilberto Thuram got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Davy Patron took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Shi Guo Wen. BRUGGE FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Helder Cadanes kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Shi Guo Wen came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Cosa nostra Lyon's Bogdan Bambas. But to his dismay, Bogdan Bambas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1.
