But to his dismay, Denílson Tepedino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Grêmio 20 Julho's Hudson Motta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denílson Tepedino in the 9th minute of play. Denílson Tepedino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hudson Motta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Hudson Motta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denílson Tepedino in the 15th minute of the match. Hudson Motta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denílson Tepedino, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The corner led to ADM Taquaras's Tales De Mileto getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cesar Quinto couldn't finish the play. Hudson Motta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denílson Tepedino in the 42nd minute of the match. After 44 minutes, Denílson Tepedino made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Grêmio 20 Julho's Hudson Motta tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdemar de Amaral in the 48th minute of play forced ADM Taquaras's goalkeeper Jeremias Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in ADM Taquaras's zone, Valdemar de Amaral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeremias Moreno came out of the goal and Valdemar de Amaral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valdemar de Amaral was the one to do the kick off. With his leg Hudson Motta managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when ADM Taquaras's Denílson Tepedino fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 59 minutes into the match, Grêmio 20 Julho's goal looked a bit too open when Denílson Tepedino came free, but Hudson Motta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeremias Moreno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valdemar de Amaral's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Grêmio 20 Julho's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Denílson Tepedino 64 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Quinto in the 69th minute of play forced Grêmio 20 Julho's goalkeeper Hudson Motta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hudson Motta was a little too slow when Denílson Tepedino got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 0-5. ADM Taquaras's Áron Bódog was substituted for Zaquiel Puredo. Jeremias Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilmar Romero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute Maurinho Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hudson Motta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute, Eduardo Paes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ADM Taquaras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. Áron Bódog could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Hudson Motta made a huge save. The ADM Taquaras fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when ADM Taquaras's Áron Bódog looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tales De Mileto came free with the goalkeeper in the 93rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Hudson Motta could save by the left post. ADM Taquaras's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
