An unexpectedly hard shot by Edu Carvalho in the 6th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Español's goalkeeper Turgut Talha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vacid Nefer in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Agustín Rossi saved Los Trip from getting behind. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los Trip's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joaquin Hug was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Deportivo Español's players had a chance to rest. Turgut Talha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edu Carvalho in the 37th minute. Turgut Talha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edu Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vacid Nefer made a kick off. Vacid Nefer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Los Trip's attentive Edelmiro Neto managed to snatch the ball when Alfredo Sotil made a throw-in in the 52nd minute of the game. Edu Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 55 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Español's goal looked a bit too open when Edu Carvalho came free, but Turgut Talha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfredo Sotil made in the 58th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Petrică Bărbulescu immediately put the ball in play. Agustín Rossi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vacid Nefer's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. After some careless play in the Club Deportivo Español defense, Edu Carvalho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Turgut Talha. The Club Deportivo Español fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Turgut Talha should have stopped the shot. Turgut Talha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edu Carvalho in the 63rd minute of the match. When Edu Carvalho came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Los Trip fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edu Carvalho couldn't finish the play. 71 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Español's goal looked a bit too open when Edu Carvalho came free, but Turgut Talha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joaquin Hug during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Los Trip's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
