After some careless play in the ManagerZone Crew defense, Rigoberto Thomas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patrick Armstrong. The ManagerZone Crew fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patrick Armstrong should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Rodolfo Cordeiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Patrick Armstrong was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Peter Linkhorst to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Linkhorst in the 55th minute of play forced Santa Maradona's goalkeeper Jonathan Errapel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 57 minutes Santa Maradona's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Adrian Våleman who took care of the corner kick. The corner led ManagerZone Crew's Peter Linkhorst to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Errapel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jonathan Errapel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Ununger, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Adrian Våleman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Errapel having to make a save. In the 88th match minute, ManagerZone Crew was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Majewski to maneuver through the defense. After 89 played minutes ManagerZone Crew got a freekick which was hit by Anderson Schulle. Patrick Armstrong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Cordeiro in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Peter Linkhorst ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Errapel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-6. Patrick Armstrong was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Miguel Transito capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Miguel Transito really showed his touch with that goal: 2-7.
