The tension between the PHOENIX SC and the ...Pingue S.C.... players grew even worse after the yellow card. Yonas Sutrisna hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute Paulo Yurre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ray Clemence saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lilcho Ilchov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Javier Abin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Lilcho Ilchov kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Javier Abin. That made the score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, PHOENIX SC's goal looked a bit too open when Santi Gavilanes came free, but Ray Clemence reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, ...Pingue S.C....'s Tiaguinho Gavilanes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ray Clemence made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Javier Abin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Holin Probohudono, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Frederico Hendrickx could shoot a difficult shot in the 29th minute, which Javier Abin however easily saved by the left post. 33 minutes into the game, Frederico Hendrickx cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Javier Abin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Yurre in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ray Clemence prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiaguinho Gavilanes in the 42nd minute of play forced PHOENIX SC's goalkeeper Ray Clemence to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ...Pingue S.C....'s Javier Abin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Holin Probohudono in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Santi Gavilanes to make the kick off. Javier Abin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederico Hendrickx, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Sébastien Gavilanes kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. ...Pingue S.C....'s Mercado Ibio was substituted for Tiaguinho Gavilanes. In the 59th minute of the match Phoenix Kante sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Javier Abin skillfully saved the ball. PHOENIX SC's Phoenix Kante was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Javier Abin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 61st minute, Holin Probohudono made a precise shot to the right of Javier Abin. ...Pingue S.C....'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. 68 minutes into the match, ...Pingue S.C....'s goal looked a bit too open when Lilcho Ilchov came free, but Javier Abin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute ...Pingue S.C.... were awarded a corner. Alessandro Gavilanes went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Alessandro Gavilanes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ray Clemence quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 72 minutes into the match, ...Pingue S.C....'s goal looked a bit too open when Holin Probohudono came free, but Javier Abin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yonas Sutrisna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Javier Abin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. PHOENIX SC's Ray Clemence played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mercado Ibio in the 81st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Holin Probohudono in the 86th minute of play forced ...Pingue S.C....'s goalkeeper Javier Abin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tạ Gavilanes's late challenge caught a PHOENIX SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tạ Gavilanes helped the player get up and apologised. Tạ Gavilanes kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match.
