Jeronimo Gaufred started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC booed when Progresul Pitesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karol Czempa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Godfredo Erruki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 12 minutes into the match, Progresul Pitesti's goal looked a bit too open when Godfredo Erruki came free, but Martin Tudor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Chorache Tofiño came free, but Virgilio Quentin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute Godfredo Erruki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Tudor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC were awarded a corner. Godfredo Erruki went to the cornerflag to take it. A well done corner resulted in Jeronimo Gaufred drilling the ball in to score 1-0 behind Progresul Pitesti's goalkeeper. Virgilio Quentin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chorache Tofiño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Virgilio Quentin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chorache Tofiño in the 37th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godfredo Erruki in the 38th minute of play forced Progresul Pitesti's goalkeeper Martin Tudor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karol Czempa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgilio Quentin having to interfere. Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC's Virgilio Quentin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Moise in the 44th minute of play. Godfredo Erruki hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vasile Blănaru was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Benedykt Narbut hit a great ball. In the 56th minute, Marcos Guillelmus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC's Virgilio Quentin got control of the ball when Chorache Tofiño tried to sneak it across the goal line. Godfredo Erruki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martin Tudor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. After having played for 65 minutes, Chorache Tofiño managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Progresul Pitesti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chorache Tofiño was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 71 played minutes Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC got a freekick which was hit by Gastón Roved. After some careless play in the Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC defense, Vasile Blănaru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Virgilio Quentin. The Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Virgilio Quentin should have stopped the shot. Virgilio Quentin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vasile Blănaru in the 86th minute. Martin Tudor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquin Ur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ramiro Federigo's late challenge caught a Progresul Pitesti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After some careless play in the Progresul Pitesti defense, Joaquin Ur kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Martin Tudor. The Progresul Pitesti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Martin Tudor should have stopped the shot. Many of Progresul Pitesti's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Progresul Pitesti may have spent more time on the ball, but Tandil Córdoba Legnano FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
