After a rather tough play, MarquinhosEC's Pedrinho Siqueira got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Alessandro do Valle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Horea Balint made a huge save. Costin Alucai blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Matei Răducu having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costin Alucai in the 10th minute of play forced MarquinhosEC's goalkeeper Matei Răducu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bar Marconi United's Horea Balint proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Bar Marconi United from getting a goal against them. Gabriel Martini made a great header on MarquinhosEC's corner, it was just that Bar Marconi United's Horea Balint managed to reach the ball for a save. 18 minutes into the game, Bar Marconi United's Davide Spadoni nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matei Răducu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Alessandro do Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horea Balint having to interfere. Matei Răducu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costin Alucai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Horea Balint stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Harm de Freitas's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute Costin Alucai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matei Răducu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, MarquinhosEC's Harm de Freitas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Horea Balint narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Bar Marconi United's zone, Alessandro do Valle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Horea Balint came out of the goal and Alessandro do Valle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of MarquinhosEC booed when Bar Marconi United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ettore Canzano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Costin Alucai had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matei Răducu. MarquinhosEC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Costin Alucai was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Bar Marconi United's Sabri Yenal was substituted for Alfonso Andreozzi. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, Bar Marconi United's Davide Spadoni got a free kick in the 57th minute. Fausto Di Blasio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Horea Balint read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Costin Alucai's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Matei Răducu firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Costin Alucai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 73rd match minute, Bar Marconi United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulvio Di Muzio to maneuver through the defense. MarquinhosEC made a substitution. Marco Tardelli replaced Harm de Freitas. In the 78th minute, Inácio Freitas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, MarquinhosEC's Matei Răducu got control of the ball when Costin Alucai tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to MarquinhosEC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Pedrinho Siqueira hit a great ball. 85 minutes into the match, MarquinhosEC's goal looked a bit too open when Costin Alucai came free, but Matei Răducu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 86 played minutes Bar Marconi United got a freekick which was hit by Enrico Romanese. In the 88th minute, Bar Marconi United's Costin Alucai dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. After having played for 92 minutes, Inácio Freitas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MarquinhosEC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inácio Freitas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, MarquinhosEC's Matei Răducu got control of the ball when Costin Alucai tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Bar Marconi United players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
