When Esmeraldas S.C.'s Damian Maftei in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BuanaRaya's goalie prevented a goal. Damian Maftei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Cătălin Ostoici tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aguinaga Nebot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iago Romero, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Oskar Petersson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cătălin Ostoici having to make a save. Cătălin Ostoici came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Esmeraldas S.C.'s Damian Maftei. But to his dismay, Damian Maftei quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. BuanaRaya's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jeronimo Txatxu in the 24th minute. After taking down the ball on BuanaRaya's corner Fahl De Ligt fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Aguinaga Nebot quite easily take care of the ball. Cătălin Ostoici showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Maftei in the 27th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, BuanaRaya's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Maftei came free, but Cătălin Ostoici reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aguinaga Nebot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iago Romero in the 32nd minute of play. Grigoris Katsafanas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Aguinaga Nebot made a huge save. Cătălin Ostoici showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Maftei in the 37th minute of the match. If Stefanos Terzopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute Jeronimo Txatxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aguinaga Nebot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iago Romero got free with Aguinaga Nebot in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 47th minute, Damian Maftei left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Esmeraldas S.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.
51 minutes into the match, BuanaRaya's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Maftei came free, but Cătălin Ostoici reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. BuanaRaya's Cătălin Ostoici played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willy Reynolds in the 70th minute of play. 72 minutes in the game, Willy Reynolds fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Cătălin Ostoici having to interfere. Cătălin Ostoici took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Maftei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grigoris Katsafanas in the 77th minute of play forced Esmeraldas S.C.'s goalkeeper Aguinaga Nebot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 79 minutes, Willy Reynolds managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esmeraldas S.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Willy Reynolds was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aguinaga Nebot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeronimo Txatxu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aguinaga Nebot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grigoris Katsafanas, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 86thth minute of the game Grigoris Katsafanas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Esmeraldas S.C.'s Aguinaga Nebot was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. BuanaRaya's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Damian Maftei scored to the left of an out of position Cătălin Ostoici, making the score, 1-4. Willy Reynolds was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 90th minute. Esmeraldas S.C.'s manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Cătălin Ostoici made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Willy Reynolds in the 90th minute of play. In the 91st minute of the match Esmeraldas S.C. got a corner. BuanaRaya's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Stefanos Terzopoulos ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Esmeraldas S.C.'s corner Ghitã Fratea fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cătălin Ostoici quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, BuanaRaya's Dagoberto Furlan got a free kick in the 95th minute. Cătălin Ostoici was a little too slow when Damian Maftei got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 1-5. Esmeraldas S.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
