Sabin Pânzaru was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Loco Durazno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sabin Pânzaru having to make a save. Sabin Pânzaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loco Durazno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlo Borgatello kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Sabin Pânzaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mats Nyström, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute Carlo Borgatello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Lundqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlo Borgatello was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute of the match Amanda Almqvist sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anders Lundqvist skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlo Borgatello in the 59th minute of play forced Golden Lions FC's goalkeeper Anders Lundqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Aquile Azzurre:s Sabin Pânzaru showed great skill when he stopped Hazım Tuğlu:s penalty. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Golden Lions FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
