After 4 minutes of play, Ciudad Tao FC's Tomas Ciudad made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Peter Schmeichel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ciudad Tao FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Dariusz Wos scored to the left of an out of position Vincenzo Landa, making the score, 1-1. Erik Hedström kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. A.C. Patagonia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Szymon Jaszyna in the 22nd minute. It was a well-played corner which Marcin Cebula managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Peter Schmeichel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Ciudad in the 27th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the game, Ciudad Tao FC's Tomas Ciudad nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Peter Schmeichel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Tomas Ciudad charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomas Ciudad the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ciudad Tao FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Tomas Ciudad hit a great ball. With a little luck, Ciudad Tao FC's Vincenzo Landa got control of the ball when Dariusz Wos tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dariusz Wos in the 34th minute of play forced Ciudad Tao FC's goalkeeper Vincenzo Landa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute of the match A.C. Patagonia got a corner. Ciudad Tao FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Szymon Jaszyna ran over to the corner to take the kick. Peter Schmeichel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Ciudad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peter Schmeichel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Ciudad in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

52 minutes into the game, Tomas Ciudad recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Peter Schmeichel. Tomas Ciudad showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Dariusz Wos might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vincenzo Landa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dariusz Wos ran back to his position shaking his head. 56 minutes into the match, Ciudad Tao FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dariusz Wos came free, but Vincenzo Landa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciudad Tao FC's Miron Zabel was substituted for Tomas Ciudad. A.C. Patagonia's Aldo Di Carlo was substituted for Dariusz Wos. Ciudad Tao FC's Osmar Goiano was substituted for Joel Sandström. A.C. Patagonia's Gustav Siöman was substituted for Marcin Cebula. Ciudad Tao FC's Salomon Quaade was substituted for Güralp Orkun. Vincenzo Landa came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by A.C. Patagonia's Gustav Siöman. But to his dismay, Gustav Siöman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Aldo Di Carlo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vincenzo Landa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. The supporters of Ciudad Tao FC booed when A.C. Patagonia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Faccio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Joakim Vennerlund came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Ciudad Tao FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joakim Vennerlund couldn't finish the play. Peter Schmeichel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miron Zabel in the 73rd minute of the match. Ciudad Tao FC's Vincenzo Landa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustav Siöman in the 74th minute of play. Vincenzo Landa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Di Carlo in the 81st minute of play. Peter Schmeichel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osmar Goiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Miron Zabel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Peter Schmeichel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustav Siöman in the 92nd minute of play forced Ciudad Tao FC's goalkeeper Vincenzo Landa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Miron Zabel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ciudad Tao FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
