Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eurico lago stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fryderyk Grucza's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Mao Zhen Hong came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Beatriz 08's Barto Sánchez. But to his dismay, Barto Sánchez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Alexandre Luijten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Academia Monte Gordo's zone, Barto Sánchez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mao Zhen Hong came out of the goal and Barto Sánchez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eurico lago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fryderyk Grucza, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After 41 minutes FC Beatriz 08's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Adérito Abreu who took care of the corner kick. In the 44th minute of the match Adérito Abreu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eurico lago showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Eurico lago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fryderyk Grucza, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The corner ended in Adérito Abreu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Beatriz 08's Eurico lago did a great save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pepe Bomba stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Barto Sánchez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Mao Zhen Hong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mao Zhen Hong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barto Sánchez in the 57th minute of play. Eurico lago didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fryderyk Grucza went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Academia Monte Gordo made a substitution. Adélio Infante replaced Fryderyk Grucza. If Pepe Bomba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eurico lago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adélio Infante in the 70th minute of the match. After some careless play in the FC Beatriz 08 defense, Adélio Infante kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eurico lago. The FC Beatriz 08 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eurico lago should have stopped the shot. With an all-out effort, Academia Monte Gordo's Eurico lago threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Adélio Infante, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 76 minutes FC Beatriz 08's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Adérito Abreu who took care of the corner kick. Eurico lago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adélio Infante in the 79th minute of play. After 82 minutes FC Beatriz 08's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luciano Tiso who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, FC Beatriz 08's Oso Cienfuegos got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 89th minute Adélio Infante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eurico lago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eurico lago came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Academia Monte Gordo's Adélio Infante. But to his dismay, Adélio Infante quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Eurico lago made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manuel Couto in the 92nd minute. After 93 minutes, Barto Sánchez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Beatriz 08 and the Academia Monte Gordo players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Academia Monte Gordo booed when FC Beatriz 08 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barto Sánchez didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Academia Monte Gordo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Academia Monte Gordo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
