After a rather tough play, Sosoco FC's Régis de Alcântara got a free kick in the 5th minute. Marcel Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 10th match minute, Sosoco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dida Novaes to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ's Juninho Bittencourt got a free kick in the 11th minute. The supporters of Sosoco FC booed when ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Simão didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Almeida in the 20th minute of play forced ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ's goalkeeper Maurício Veiga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agostinho Antunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeferson Carneiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, Sosoco FC's Régis de Alcântara dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Sosoco FC's Agostinho Antunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juninho Bittencourt in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Régis de Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 32 minutes of play, ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ's Juninho Bittencourt made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Agostinho Antunes was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 35th minute, Luís Guilherme Fernandes made a precise shot to the right of Maurício Veiga. ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 42nd minute Téo Paulista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agostinho Antunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute of the match Pedro Luís Loureiro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maurício Veiga showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jeferson Viana to strike the kick off in the second half. Sosoco FC's Agostinho Antunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Simão in the 51st minute of play. Juninho Bittencourt kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 68thth minute of the game Jeferson Viana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ's Maurício Veiga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luís Guilherme Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurício Veiga having to interfere. ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ's Maurício Veiga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Régis de Alcântara in the 71st minute of play. In the 74th match minute, Sosoco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Luís Loureiro to maneuver through the defense. Agostinho Antunes was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Juninho Bittencourt capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Juninho Bittencourt really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Régis de Alcântara in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maurício Veiga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sosoco FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Juninho Bittencourt scored to the left of an out of position Agostinho Antunes, making the score, 2-3. Maurício Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeferson Viana in the 87th minute of play. Jeferson Carneiro took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Agostinho Antunes. Agostinho Antunes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. ㄈㄩㄥㄗㄙ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
