Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th minute Abelardo da Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bran Allison saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute Cactos were awarded a corner. Mario Yepes went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Maurinho Trezeguet managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Murilo Ferreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricki Dresager in the 11th minute of play. Bran Allison took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Dias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricki Dresager in the 16th minute of play forced Buritama Sports's goalkeeper Murilo Ferreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricki Dresager took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Murilo Ferreira. Murilo Ferreira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The audience was convinced that Abelardo da Fonseca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bran Allison was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurinho Trezeguet in the 25th minute of play forced Buritama Sports's goalkeeper Murilo Ferreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 29 played minutes Buritama Sports got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Fonseca. After a defensive mix-up in Buritama Sports's zone, Mario Yepes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Murilo Ferreira came out of the goal and Mario Yepes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36thth minute of the game Ricki Dresager who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Buritama Sports's Murilo Ferreira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Ricki Dresager's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Murilo Ferreira was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. After 38 minutes Buritama Sports's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mario Yepes who took care of the corner kick. After 46 minutes, Vito Senna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Buritama Sports and the Cactos players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 46th minute, Vito Senna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Cactos were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abelardo da Fonseca made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Cactos's goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo da Fonseca came free, but Bran Allison reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cactos's Luisinho Maciel was substituted for Ricki Dresager. Cactos made a substitution. Coronel Camba replaced Conrado Capixaba. Bran Allison took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexsandro Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luisinho Maciel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Murilo Ferreira having to make a save. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Buritama Sports's goalkeeper Murilo Ferreira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bran Allison came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Buritama Sports's Alexsandro Aguiar. But to his dismay, Alexsandro Aguiar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Cactos's Matias Gaitan was substituted for Maurinho Trezeguet. Buritama Sports's Amauri Peixoto was substituted for Wang Wei Sha. The audience was convinced that Amauri Peixoto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bran Allison was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. 90 minutes into the match, Buritama Sports's goalkeeper Murilo Ferreira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matias Gaitan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexsandro Aguiar in the 95th minute of play forced Cactos's goalkeeper Bran Allison to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Buritama Sports supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cactos's performance. The match ended with a win for Cactos.
