An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricki Dresager in the 22nd minute of play forced Buritama Sports's goalkeeper Murilo Ferreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Murilo Ferreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricki Dresager, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Dias in the 27th minute of play forced Cactos's goalkeeper Bran Allison to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cactos's Bran Allison played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexsandro Aguiar in the 28th minute of play. Bran Allison made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo da Fonseca in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo da Fonseca in the 32nd minute of play forced Cactos's goalkeeper Bran Allison to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Buritama Sports's Murilo Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricki Dresager in the 40th minute of play. The supporters of Buritama Sports booed when Cactos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maurinho Trezeguet didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Buritama Sports defense, Ricki Dresager kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Murilo Ferreira. The Buritama Sports fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Murilo Ferreira should have stopped the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alexsandro Aguiar to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo da Fonseca in the 52nd minute of play forced Cactos's goalkeeper Bran Allison to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricki Dresager sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 92nd minute, Luisinho Maciel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Buritama Sports players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cactos.
