Dariusz Czciborek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 孟振邦, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 38th match minute, Birmingham City F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Slavyan Agov to maneuver through the defense. Pierre Lyngdal kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. With a little luck, FC Pegasas Siauliai's Pavel Romanescu got control of the ball when Luis Alberto Suárez tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luis Alberto Suárez in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pavel Romanescu saved FC Pegasas Siauliai from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Luis Alberto Suárez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pavel Romanescu was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. A hard shot 82 in the game by Miltos Kotsovolos from a close distance when the talented Dariusz Czciborek managed to make a qualified save. Birmingham City F.C.'s players were relieved. Peycho Zvezdanov got in the 86th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Pavel Romanescu handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Pavel Romanescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erland Boberg went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. If 孟振邦 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Birmingham City F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Pegasas Siauliai's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Pegasas Siauliai.
