Marco Santo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Correia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 19 in the game by Rolando Lopez from a close distance when the talented Marco Santo managed to make a qualified save. Morteros's players were relieved. With a little luck, Morteros's Marco Santo got control of the ball when Gaston Laurendi tried to sneak it across the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Morteros's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Lopez came free, but Marco Santo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th match minute, Morteros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermengildo Iruinea to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rolando Lopez got free with Marco Santo in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 34th minute, Evaristo Odilon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Morteros fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Marco Santo made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Rolando Lopez sent off a good shot on target. In the 39th minute of the match Club Atlético Temperley got a corner. Morteros's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hector Fernandez ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 40 minutes of play, Morteros's Isauro Sota made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ioan Voicu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rolando Lopez in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marco Santo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Rolando Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristiano Correia to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristiano Correia in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Santo saved Morteros from getting behind. Marco Santo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Lopez in the 53rd minute of play. After 54 minutes of play, Club Atlético Temperley's Cristiano Correia made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Santo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 57 minutes into the match, Rolando Lopez notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Morteros's Marco Santo. Marco Santo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hermengildo Raymon hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Marco Santo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Correia in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Cristiano Correia made a precise shot to the right of Marco Santo. Morteros's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Morteros's goalkeeper Marco Santo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 70th minute Club Atlético Temperley were awarded a corner. Hector Fernandez went to the cornerflag to take it. After 72 played minutes Morteros got a freekick which was hit by Isauro Sota. Ioan Voicu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abel Quentin in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Lopez in the 76th minute of play forced Morteros's goalkeeper Marco Santo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Morteros's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Correia came free, but Marco Santo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Morteros defense, Cristiano Correia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Santo. The Morteros fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Santo should have stopped the shot. Rolando Lopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Santo having to interfere. In the 83rd match minute, Morteros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Ladio to maneuver through the defense. 84 minutes into the game, Cristiano Correia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-2. Marco Santo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 87thth minute of the game Cristiano Correia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Morteros's Marco Santo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 91st match minute, Morteros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Ladio to maneuver through the defense. Gaston Laurendi kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Morteros's Ioan Voicu threw himself towards the right post 96 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hermengildo Iruinea, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the referee ended the match the Club Atlético Temperley players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
